California State Parks' Hidden Fund Revelations Have Killed Sonoma County's Sales Tax Proposal for Parks and Open Spaces, But Marin County Pushes On. Yesterday the Supervisors dropped the proposed rescue of China Camp and Olompali State Parks, but included support of special districts like Bolinas and Tomales. The November ¼% sales tax ballot proposal for parks, open spaces and farmland gets its "first reading" today.
