This week, co-host and program creator Marc Matheson celebrates the musical legacy of his mother, Nancy May Nalle, born on this date 87 years ago. It was Marc's mom who gifted him a love of music, including jazz, bossa nova and much more, and who introduced him to the musical traditions of African America.
