Declan's Hour of Soul
Hosting a music show every other Wednesdays, 4-5 pm.
"My show is a show that plays soul from the 60's to today. My goal is to be able to seek new artists that take this genre in a new direction but also play classics. Some artist you'll hear are Al Green, D'Angelo, Anthony Hamilton, Prince, Curtis Mayfield, Hall and Oats, Rhye, Mayer Hawthorne and many others. Ideally, for guests I would like members of the soul community as well as artists."
Brian “Swervin’” Kirven studied film and creative writing at San Francisco State University, and with a bachelor of arts This bachelor, married to life as a work of art, took to the roads of North, Central and South America on various motorcycle trips spanning three years. Patrick Kleeman grew up in Colorado and bounced around the American Southwest and the island of St. Lucia before landing in West Marin. He works as an ecologist studying amphibians here in Point Reyes, and in the Sierra Nevada where some frog populations are undergoing precipitous declines.
Host of the occasional bluegrass/old-timey/Americana show, Paul is also a big help to KWMR with our “Sweethearts of the Radio” and “The Far West Fest,” and other live music events the station puts on.
