Round Up: ”Are We Ready for 2026?”

“Are We Ready for 2026?”
⚡ December 30, 2025 ⚡
First off, the performance of “A Christmas Carol” did not disappoint. It was fabulous. I know it was “after” Christmas, but that didn’t stop two big groups from attending the performances at the lovely Tomales Town Hall. Big thanks to Kirsten for the delicious, and very popular cupcakes. Aunty JJ’s cookies were so delicious. I was actually surprised at how many kids like cardamom. Griffo was the perfect addition to our signature cocktail. We kept our trash to a minimum thanks to Madeline Hope’s great rentals. The actors, volunteer set builders, wreath assemblers, ticket takers, and bartenders were THE BEST! A great way to celebrate the new Tomales Booster! One Tomales local told us they’re so pleased that their community is now fully knitted to West Marin’s other villages via KWMR.
Sharron Drake is a KWMR Board Member. She is also the sole force behind Sharron Drake Community Arts and has produced every one of those Inverness Shakespeare performances. She has produced holiday play performance fundraisers for KWMR for many years. She is great to partner with. Sharron has a Patreon page where you can get the behind the scenes deets on what she is cooking up next. Supporting the community and the arts is a GREAT thing to do!

The message in “A Christmas Carol” was apt. Why be stingy! You will be happier and have a better life if you are generous.
Thank you to everyone who has supported KWMR and our fellow nonprofits and local businesses during this end of year giving season. We sure appreciate it and depend on our local partners to make great radio! There is still time to contribute to keep KWMR going strong and thanks for “rounding up” at the Palace Market through the 31st!
Almost time to get our sixes all lined up at the end of our dated documents. 2026. I’m generally partial to even numbered things, including years, so let’s do this thing!
By the time the next Round Up newsletter hits your inbox it will be next year! Time flies when you are having fun (most of the time). Have a safe and happy holiday!
Thank you for your support!
